Geoff Cannell has emerged as a last minute candidate for West Douglas in next month's House of Keys General Election. He previously served as a Member for Onchan after gaining a seat in a by-election in 1998 but was unsuccessful at the 2001 general election. Mr Cannell,a freelance broadcaster,also lost out to veteran politician Dominic Delaney at a by-election in West Douglas last year. There's the possibility big changes to the current administration could take place on November 23rd.
