Meeting for election candidates in South

People in the South who're interested in standing as a candidate in the forthcoming Local Authority elections are being encouraged to attend a meeting this evening.
Rushen MHK and former Commissioner Phil Gawne, has organised the event, which is taking place in Port Erin.
Mr Gawne will give his thoughts on what he feels are the key issues for the South over the coming years.
Nomination papers need to be handed in to the Commissioners by 5pm tomorrow.
Tonight's meeting starts at 7.30pm at Ballafesson Methodist Hall.
