News & Press ReleasesShimmin reveals ambitions for top job
Home Affairs Minister John Shimmin has announced he’ll be going for the job of Chief Minister if he’s successful in November’s House of Keys election. Mr Shimmin has served as MHK for Douglas West since 1996 and took up his first Ministerial post at the Department of Transport in 2002. The 46 year old former teacher says he believes the general public should have a say in who gets the top job in Tynwald. Energy FM News News Feed
