News & Press ReleasesBNP meeting next week
British National Party activists will be on the Island next week to continue with a recruitment campaign launched earlier this year. Over 30 members from the North West of England spent 3 days leafleting households in July, sparking widespread debate about the party's often controversial policies. Regional Organiser Roy Goodwin told Energy FM around 45 people attended a local meeting here a few months ago and another will be held next Tuesday. He said as yet nobody on the Island has expressed an interest in standing as a BNP candidate in the forthcoming House of Keys election, but maintains there is still a chance someone may come forward before the declaration deadline. Mr Goodwin was reluctant to reveal the venue for next weeks meeting. Energy FM News News Feed
