News & Press ReleasesFormer UK Police Inspector contests Castletown Keys seat
A former UK police officer who sparked a probe into the Manx force is to challenge Tony Brown for the Castletown seat in the House of Keys. Roy Redmayne lodged a petition to Tynwald over the way an investigation was carried out after he was assaulted. The 56 year old has announced he'll be standing on behalf of Peter Karran's Liberal Vannin Party. Tony Brown has been uncontested for 10 years and was re-elected in 2001 unopposed.
