A requisition meeting for candidates in East Douglas takes place tonight at the Villa Marina. It's the final event in a series organised by Douglas Corporation in which potential MHK's in each of the capital's 4 constituencies are quizzed by voters. Later, Transport Minister Phil Braidwood and Brenda Cannell will seek to defend their political records in the face of opposition from Carol Jempson,Steve Osborne,Bill Platt and Chris Robertshaw. A similar meeting has also been organised in Rushen for this evening. Minister's Phil Gawne and John Rimington will face questioning from the public alongside Quintin Gill.The other candidates standing in the South are Phil Crellin,Adrian Tinkler,Juan Watterson and Tony Wright.
