The names of those more senior politicians who hope to become the next Chief Minister will be officially announced at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Nominations closed at 5pm yesterday. Although the formal statement won't be issued until this afternoon, it's reported David Cannan, Steve Rodan and John Shimmin have been put forward for the top job. Speaker Tony Brown was also expected to be in the line up, but it now seems he may be happy to stay in his current post. Energy FM News
