Press Release - Eddie O'Sullivan joins the Liberal Vannin party and contests South Ramsey

Eddie O'Sullivan has joined the Liberal Vannin Party and has declared that he will contest South Ramsey Ward.
He has lived and worked in Ramsey for over ten years and has come to know and respect many local people both in the town itself and the surrounding area through his work as a lens technician at a well-known local optometrists.
Eddie says, "I have served on the Ramsey Chamber of Trade for the past five years, currently as vice chairman, often working closely with local schools and the commissioners with initiatives to promote Ramsey, in particular at Christmas time promoting events such as carol singing and the lantern parade.
At the present time Ramsey is outwardly at its lowest ebb. In my opinion there is an amazing wealth of talent in the north of the island which I believe needs a suitable venue to be fully appreciated. I will therefore support any effort to create a multi user civic facility for Ramsey and the surrounding areas.
There are challenging times ahead for the Island and Ramsey. To move forward we need to build partnerships between Government, property developers, local businesses and community for the mutual benefit of all concerned".
