Singer to stand in elections

Former MLC and MHK Leonard Singer is to stand in next month’s Local Authority Elections.
He’s hoping for a seat on the Ramsey Commissioners where he served from 1991 until 1996 when he was elected to the House of Keys.
Mr Singer believes Ramsey is a town forgotten by the Government and needs a vision for the future.
He also says in recent years not enough information has come out of the Town Hall and into the public domain leaving residents disillusioned and disinterested in local politics.
