Publication Date: Thu, 27 Mar 2008
A former clerk of Braddan Commissioners says he hopes to get the local authority 'back on track' by standing as a candidate in next month's elections.
Charles 'Buster' Lewin announced today he's making a return to politics.
He was dismissed from his role as clerk for alleged serious misconduct last March.
Investigations into the affairs of Braddan Commissioners are continuing and Mr Lewin will give evidence to a Tynwald Select Committee in a few weeks time.
He told Energy News local residents have encouraged him to stand.
