Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan
The new President of Tynwald has been congratulated on her election by a rival candidate.
MLC Clare Christian defeated Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan in the election yesterday.
He says she'll be an excellent presiding officer and ambassador for Tynwald and the Isle of Man.
Mr Rodan is now confirming his intention to stand in the General Election for Garff later this year.
