Election will go ahead in Garff as planned

It's been confirmed an election will take place in Garff tomorrow.
One of the two candidates appeared in court this morning accused of making a false statement on his nomination paper.
Nigel Dobson's case was adjourned for a fortnight and he wasn't asked to enter a plea.
Mr Dobson is a Liberal Vannin candidate.
The party says it's standing by him and will rely on the Isle of Man justice system for its judgment, which it will respect whatever the outcome.
Returning Officer for the constituency Winston Taylor says voting will go ahead as planned.
The other candidate seeking election is Steve Rodan.
