A former MHK is seeking re-election to the constituency he served in the 80s and 90s
Dr John Orme has announced he's standing for Rushen.
He previously served the constituency from 1986, before losing his seat in the 1991 election.
He says the Island should focus on reducing its expenditure for a sustainable independant future.
The Island goes to the polls on September 29th.
