Another candidate for Ayre
Thu, 28 Jul 2011
A third candidate has announced their intention to stand for Ayre in the general election.
Andrew Newington-Bridges served as an Arbory Commissioner between 1995 and 1998, when he lived in the south of the Island.
He believes the government handling of the reciprocal health arrangement and the VAT agreement have been depressing to watch.
Mr Newington-Bridges says the reason he's standing is because he doesn't want to stand on the sideline and witness the import of problems to the Island.
Education Minister Eddie Teare and Pat Ayres are also looking to be elected.
