Castletown Commissioner to stand for House of Keys
Fri, 12 Aug 2011
A Castletown Commissioner is seeking election as the town's MHK.
Colin Leather has served on the local authority since 1980.
He says the retirement of current Castletown member Tony Brown gives him the opportunity to serve the constituency.
Mr Leather is retired from full time employment, but is a member of the Casltetown Regeneration Committee and secretary on the Castletown Festival Committee, in addition to his work as a Commissioner.
He's the fourth candidate to declare for the single seat constituency.
