Earnshaw to defend Keys seat
Thu, 28 Jul 2011
Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw is looking to defend his seat in the House of Keys when the Island goes to the polls in September.
Mr Earnshaw has served two terms as MHK for Onchan having been first elected in 2001.
The former bank manager began his political career in 1996 when he was elected to the village commissioners.
He believes it's crucial the Island focuses on the economy over the next five years.
He says a sound economy is vital to support health, education and welfare services.
Mr Earnshaw becomes the sixth person to announce they're standing in the three seat constinuency.
