Defacing election posters could get you arrested

People who tamper with posters or banners belonging to election candidates could face arrest and prosecution.
The warning comes as the House of Keys hopefuls get busy putting up campaign material around the Island.
The government warns that police will be tough on anyone caught defacing or removing election signage.
People could be charged with theft or criminal damage.
